The Eating Room is walk-ins only at lunch, whilst a reservation is required for the evening. This means that everyone can sample those delicious pub classics or local seasonal specials.
We want to showcase the best of Cumbrian food and drink so our new menu features traditional dishes made with the freshest local ingredients; the same is true of our ale selection.
We kindly request that any dinner reservations with children under 12 years of age are made for times at the beginning of the evening service.
If you intend to dine with your furry friends you will not be able to reserve a table. However you are most welcome to eat in our bar area, which does not take reservations and has the same menu as the Eating Room.
We’re all about keeping it local – not just because it sounds good, but because it tastes even better. Our ingredients come from nearby farms, butchers, fishmongers and grocers who pour heart and soul into what they do. That means fresher flavours, fewer food miles, and a menu that changes with the seasons. Supporting local isn’t just a feel-good extra – it’s the secret ingredient that makes every bite sing.
